This Christmas episode begins when the class is practicing for the Christmas play. The play is about the early years of Christianity. When Kyle's mother Sheila finds out about this, she gets very angry because her son is Jewish. She demands that all religious things be removed from the play. Kyle then suggests doing a play about Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo but because nobody believes him and even laughs at him, this is canceled. Broflovski's demand is the starting signal for a major commotion in South Park. It is decided that all religious, including Christmas decorations, will be removed. Kyle, who is ashamed of his mother, then seeks refuge with Mr. Hankey who is really a talking stool. Kyle introduces Mr. Hankey to other people, including the boys, but when he shows him, Mr. Hankey doesn't and it looks like Kyle is taking everyone by putting a piece of stool in a box and saying that it is Mr. Hankey is. When Kyle talks to Cartman, Mr. Hankey in Mr. Mackey's coffee, the school psychologist. He declares Kyle a depressed shit addict who uses Prozac and has him admitted to an institution.
