The episode begins with Cartman being taken to hospital. Because Kenny's soul is still inside him, "his time is running out". The doctor therefore wants to give him a time transplant. However, Chef decides to take Cartman, along with Cartman's mother, Stan and Kyle, to the medium John Edward, in New York.
